Of Democratic officials, 79 percent are white and 65 percent are men. Men dominate the politics, especially white men. It's something that has not changed for ages. Yes, it is changing, but it's changing slowing. 23 percent of white women make up the Republican officials, while 1 percent of colored women make up the Republican officials. For democrats, there are 27 percent of white women and 6 percent of colored women. Republicans and Democrats also have 3 percent and 11 percent colored men, respectively. Even though these numbers are not great, they are improving and that's an accomplishment in my book. Our country is accepting diversity almost everyday but there are still setbacks to the changes, but one day everyone will accept it.
